Foodbank Collections
The Foodbank provides emergency food and support to people in the Gateshead area and are part of a wider network working to combat poverty in the UK.

We are delighted to be working with the Gateshead Foodbank on a regular basis, having collections at the Gateshead International Stadium throughout the season.

Christmas at Gibside
The foundation took over 20 families to experience the lights at Giobside for Christmas.

Childrens Christmas Movie Night
We held a childrens Christmas movie night at Bensham Grove Community Centre on Thursday 15th December.

Pop Ups 2022
Too encourage children to partake in physical activities the Foundation ran a number of free pop-up sessions throughout the Borough in 2022, one of which was visited by the local Polce Crime Commissioner who has helped fund a number of our events.

Hadrians Wall Challenge 2022
Alongside Creative Youth Opportunities and @NEYouth_ , we took several young people today to the Hadrian’s Wall Challenge on 24 September 2022. Following an 8 mile hike we then had some archery, rugby and karaoke!

Beamish Museum
In 2022 we made 2 visits to Beamish, the firstto be present at the opening of the 1950s Park at Beamish Open Air Museum with Ben Clark and members of the Foundation and Football club present to provide training and activities for all the children present. The secondvisit was to take a group of children from Bensham and a group from Age UK Gateshead to not only enjoy the atrcation but also the fish and chips.

Launch
In the first week of December 2019, Gateshead Football Club Foundation was launched. We hosted events at Gateshead Stadium whilst also visiting other charities that we are going to be working alongside as we progress.
